Shirenewton: Man, 18, dies, and three hurt in crash

An 18-year-old man has died and three people have been injured in a two-car crash.

Gwent Police said a Peugeot 5008 and a Ford Focus crashed on Usk Road in Shirenewton, Monmouthshire, at about 13:30 BST on Sunday.

The teen died at the scene. A 51-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, who were in the Peugeot, were taken to hospital but have since been released.

A 29-year-old man, who was in the Ford, remains in hospital.
