'I'm just glad everybody's safe'

It was supposed to be a special meal with her family.

Instead, Philippa Swatton experienced what she describes as "the worst thing that's happened to [her]".

Sat outside the Bristol restaurant Pasture, Philippa noticed a large group of people moving towards her, so began to film them on her phone.

Before she knew it, she was hiding under a table so she could stay with her dog Sockie.

On Saturday, 16 people were arrested for various offences during the clashes, including racially-aggravated public disorder and assaulting an emergency worker.

The arrests came after hundreds of far-right protesters and a counter-protest group gathered for two demonstrations near Castle Park.
