Crystal Palace secure first major trophy win in the club's history

It was an historic moment for Crystal Palace fans yesterday as the club lifted the trophy as winners of this year's FA cup.

Crystal Palace took on Manchester City at Wembley, beating the Citizens 1-0 and securing their first major trophy in the club's 119-year history.

The winning goal came from Eberechi Eze in the 16th minute.

After losing two FA Cup finals in the past, Palace fans finally celebrated the historic win.

But, is it the end of an era for Manchester City?

The FA Cup final summed up their season of disappointment as they endured another loss.

This season has been the first time they have failed to win a trophy since manager Pep Guardiola's first campaign in charge in 2016-17.

It is also the second year in a row City have lost the FA Cup final, after losing to Manchester United last season.
