It’s definitely important that whoever it is around; loved ones, dear people to you are having a chance if they want to and if you want them to, to talk to the baby bump during the pregnancy.
Raoul
I spoke actively to the baby bump and I know that now that he’s born he recognises my voice. Speaking to the baby bump is a very good idea and playing sounds as well that can help to soothe is a really good idea too.

And babies while they’re in the womb, and even when they’re born find it much easier to learn from when we as adults talk with exaggerated sounds. So, all of the baby talk and just in general making really exaggerated sounds helps them to learn exactly what words should sound like. Also, another quick tip is that once baby’s born and you’re chatting to the baby… pause for replies from them when you are talking to them because this teaches them, kinda like, the two-way nature of conversation.

So dads you should not be embarrassed speaking to your baby bump.
Dilan
Definitely don’t, yeah don’t be embarrassed.
Talking to your bump is a really great way to start bonding with your baby before they're born.
And if you feel comfortable, encourage friends and family to chat to your baby too.
