Diego the rescued bear cools off at Suffolk wildlife park

A brown bear rescued from a closing-down wildlife park in Sweden is settling into his new home.

Diego arrived at Jimmy's Farm in Wherstead, Suffolk, on Thursday, after spending the winter at a wildlife park in Devon while his enclosure was built.

Park director Stevie Sheppard said: "The first thing he did is he ran straight out and dived into the pool."

He was brought to the UK after his previous zoo in Sweden announced it was closing.
