There are plenty of white seats as the players take to the field, though the cloud has cleared and we now have blues skies and sun overhead.

That might tempt a few people to head to the ground.

I'm a bit concerned about the crowd. There are some very empty stands.

The cost of the tickets and the tendency for Tests to be over very quickly, it all plays a part. It will be a talking point if there are only a few thousand in today.

England haven't done anything particularly special with the ball, possibly because they haven't had to, it's just that Sri Lanka have given their wickets away so far.

But what they do well is bowl as a unit and keep applying the pressure. Sri Lanka will have to be patient.

Kamindu Mendis is batting at eight - that's good depth!

Dimuth Karunaratne will begin the day on 23 and Prabath Jayasuriya - who was promoted to number four to see Sri Lanka through to the close on Saturday - is on three.

With a hefty 430 runs needed for the most improbable of victories. This feels like a case of how long it will take for England to finish the job.
