Adil Rashid is quite small so can't get to those bouncers too high.

In his youth, Rashid was practically a specialist batsman. He's got eight or nine first-class centuries in his time.

Interestingly, England have sent out Adil Rashid before Matthew Potts.

Alzarri Joseph has three balls left of his 10. Rashid just needs to see them off.

21 runs from 27 balls are needed.

Not done yet? Brydon Carse takes on another quick short ball and top-edges it to fine leg.

This is fierce from Alzarri Joseph.

Short and rapid from Alzarri Joseph.

It's too quick for Brydon Carse but flies over the wicketkeeper's head as well!

    21 needed from 28.

    Need 25 from 30 balls

Joe Root still looks so composed and not tired in the slightest. He just punches a glove with Brydon Carse at the end of the over before heading to the non-striker's end.

Alzarri Joseph to bowl. This may be West Indies' last chance.

Magnificent shot from Joe Root. This has been a brilliant innings. Clinical.

    He has capitalised magnificently.

Smashed over the covers for four to go to 150. That releases a bit of the pressure.

Brydon Carse dabs a single into the off side to get off the mark.

Joe Root was in a similar situation in the Champions Trophy against Afghanistan and England lost.

That was tight but the finger went up and the orange (umpire's call) came out.

Will Jacks played a good hand and it was slow going for him but that was appropriate for the situation he was in.

Just clipping the top of leg stump.

Will Jacks can say he's a bit unlucky. He deserved a fifty after a crucial innings.

It's a bit high. It has hit the top of Jacks' back pad.

    Argh.

On 49, Will Jacks is given lbw.

Joe Root tells him to review but that might be more in hope.

It's been sublime from Joe Root with some beautiful, classical shots on the way. He has played some glorious shots.

We are in the presence of greatness, we have to appreciate him. He is right up there with the best for England in any format, except maybe T20.

He is one of the all-time England greats, without any question, and we better to appreciate him.

And I’m serious here….do we have to start including Joe Root in the conversation as the best batter of all time?

England look to be winning this at a canter. All the pressure has evaporated.

West Indies are relying on a jaffa, or a really bad shot and I don't see that happening.
